10 Days Mesmerizing Assam Tour Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival at Dibrugarh

You will be picked up from the airport/ railway station and dropped off at the bungalow in the tea estates in Dibrugarh.
Once you freshen up, get to take a look at the tea factory.
Spend a pleasant evening at the tea plantations.

Day 2 : Dibrugarh Excursion

You can set off for a morning walk in the tea plantations to get a peaceful experience and cool your mind.
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and head out to meet the manager of the plantation to know, ask and see anything related to the plantations.
Towards the evening you can visit the tea worker's basti and get to know their style of living. You might also get a glimpse of their Jhumri Dance.

Day 3 : Dibrugarh-Digboi

After breakfast, check out of the Hotel in Dibrugarh and head to Digboi- the oil city of Assam.
Check in at the hotel and spend a peaceful evening.

Day 4 : Digboi Tour

After breakfast at the hotel, visit the oil fields, which are one of the oldest oil mills to be still functioning across the globe.
Digboi is not only an oil field but also has a museum featuring the oldest still-in-service oil equipment in the world.
To have a particularly enjoyable evening, drive along the winding roads in the twilight while passing the hillocks.
Later in the evening check in at your hotel for a restful sleep.

Day 5 : Digboi-Jorhat

Start early in the morning to the tea capital of Assam-Jorhat.
You will be accommodated at an Assamese village's Thengal Mansion, the famous ancestral home of a tea planter.
Take a stroll in a nearby village after lunch and some downtime to observe how basic their lifestyles are.

Day 6 : Jorhat- Kaziranga

After breakfast, visit the Toklai Research Station to know all about tea- plantations.
Later in the day, start off for the next destination Kaziranga.

Day 7 : Kaziranga Elephant Safari

Explore the beautiful park on an elephant ride early in the morning.
Also, get to see the unique and famous one-horned rhino in its native land.
Enjoy a leisure day at the central range of the park and have a peaceful evening at the hotel.

Day 8 : Kaziranga Excursion

After breakfast, go and take a look at the local villages and markets nearby.
You can also visit the tea estates of Kaziranga.
Have your lunch, visit the eastern range of the park and get a glimpse of the various flora and fauna.

Day 9 : Kaziranga-Guwahati

After breakfast, at the hotel, check out and drive to Guwahati our final destination.
Visit the various famous places in Guwahati including the Basista Ashram and the evening Boat Cruise as well.

In the Northeast, generally, vehicles like Sedan do not have carriers. You are advised to carry one bag per person. Kindly give us prior information in case you have more luggage.
Delay in arrival due to many reasons including flight reschedules shall have to inform to us at an earliest and in case of any sightseeing spot missed due to any delay including spending more time in one sightseeing spot, will not be refundable.
Kajaawa will provide accommodation as per the hotels in the list and in case the listed hotels cannot be provided for any reason like unavailability, scheduled or general maintenance, accident at the hotel, risky road conditions due to bad weather or political disturbance, similar hotels will be provided and you will be informed about the changes in advance.
In Deluxe and Premium Tour Packages, we will generally arrange Deluxe and Premium Hotels but in interior places, we will arrange Homestays, Guest Houses or Standard Hotels as Deluxe and Premium accommodations may not be available in the interiors for any reason.
In case of any unforeseen situations which are beyond our control including bad weather conditions, political disturbance etc., we may change your itinerary or dates of travel.
Travellers may have to bear additional expenses in case of natural calamity including situations like changes in the hotel, changes in tour date etc.

Confirmation Policy

You have to pay 50% of the total tour cost at the time of booking.
After paying 50% you will receive an invoice of your payment and also booking confirmation details containing your detailed travel itinerary and hotel information.

Cancellation Policy

25% of the total cost, if the tour is cancelled 30 days before the tour starts.
50% of the total cost, if the tour is cancelled 15-30 days before the tour starts.
100% of the total cost, if the tour is cancelled 0-15 days before the tour starts.

Payment Policy

100% of the tour cost has to be paid 1 (one) week before the tour starts.

Refund Policy

Refunds will be processed within 7(seven) business days in the customer’s bank account.
