There is no airport or railway station in Cherrapunji, the nearest airport is the Umroi Airport, also known as the Shillong Airport. Guwahati Railway Station is the closest railway station to reach Cherrapunji, so once you reach there, you will be easily able to get a taxi or get on a bus to reach Cherrapunji. To travel by road, you can either take a bus to Shillong from where you can hire a cab to reach Cherrapunji. You can also hire a Guwahati to Cherrapunji Taxi to reach Cherrapunji by road.
